nope, i know a person who had a similar accident and was ejected out the MOON roof and lived, no seatbelt, so if you can be ejected and live, theres a good chance a seatbelt can save ya

Still going that fast alone is risking your life and your car. You can be the best damn driver in the world at 120mph there are some things that happen that noone can see coming or stop especially on the street. Now im not saying i have never gone fast cause that would be a lie. All im saying is dont state that you would never risk your life or your car when you admitted to doing just that.

tru tru. but i agree witht the whole seatbelt deal its jus stupid not to wear it after all the studies that they do SAVE LIVES. here in Texas u get a ticket for not wearing one driver and passenger. i even want to say they recently passed a law that every one in the car needs to have one on

I see so many people driving these little econo boxes I wouldn't be caught dead in.
Watch this video of a 1959 Chevy Belair versus a 2009 Chevy Malibu.

Malibu driver has a possible bruised left foot. The Belair driver is more than likely dead. 40 mph head-on offset like someone crossing the yellow line.

Just like our LS1's give me technology.

Oh a good seat belt too.

Eh, one example doesn't sway me. Technology peaked for me around 1975 anyway I'll still take heavy metal over plastic any day of the week.
It's what ever makes ya happy.

I don't put much faith in that testing anyway. After they rigged a chevy truck to blow causing an uproar in gas tank locations,,,,when in fact the whole thing was a setup. Pretty much killed any faith in crash ratings for me.

As a firefighter I have went on several runs and had to pick up teenagers killed or mamed in vehicle accidents. In the end 99% of the accidents involving teenagers are from inmaturity, be it driving over their heads, texting while driving or just not paying attention. It's a shame that most kids really don't realize how fast crap can happen when they're driving a 2 ton rocket and how in a split second their lives and the lives of others can be changed forever.

It's true. Countless times I have had to go tell parents that their kids would not be coming home or they were in the hospital.
