    Review Mirror Swap

Anyone swap in a rearview mirror that has compass and temp? It may sound crazy, but I really miss this info. I used to have a Tahoe that had this setup, and from what I can remember, the sensor is in the mount...

    TIA,

    Ken

I got one out of a newer cadillac and it fit perfectly i just used the power from the light in the old one and you have to run a wire to the front of the car for the temp sensor. All in all it was really easy.:yup

Is the temp sensor included or part of the mirror? Was the mirror the same size?

I am curious how it measures the temp when the sensor is inside the car?

Very sweet setup! Can you tell me how you physically attached the new mirror to the windshield? Does it sit on the same perch?

    Thumbs up

    Hey wilsonls1

Great job on your mirror, and help for anyone who wants it.

Must be nice to drive all year round.
My Camaro has been clean and covered since Oct. 30th.
Winter hit here hard about then. (Northern Lower Michigan)
It is 3:27 am and -14 right now, but at least there is no howling wind.
    Can't wait for spring.
    June maybe ?

    All the best.

    Jess ...........

Anyone know of another GM vehicle that has the temp, compass, and lights all on the mirror? I just can not give up those lights.
