Hair dryer to heat them up, fishing line possibly to help peel them, and then 3M adhesive remover to remove any residue afterwards.

You may not need the fishing line to be honest, but dental floss or thread might be an alternative if you do need something. Kite string also.

I removed my Z28 emblems on a hot day in direct sunlight. With enough persuasion they came off. I ended up breaking one but i wasn't worried. I have never used fishing line. In the past I normally use a hair dryer and force.

heat them up(hair drier or direct sun light) and throw some googone on them to let it soak in from the top them start pulling slowly or you can use a can of compressed air and put it upside down to freeze the backing tape.

You can use a trim tool... which is nothing more than a plastic pry bar looking object.
