Rebuilding Trans

I have been working on rebuilding this trans for a while, well I finally got it out last night. Here is the trans and all its broken glory!

I lost 2nd and 4th gear and then my starter broke on a second note.

I'm confused a little. You said you have been working on rebuilding it awhile, but then say you finally just pulled it. What exactly were you rebuilding?

How was yours coming off the dowels? Mine was seized onto them and stuck to the point that I had to touch them both with the blunt tip of an air chisel.

I torched them! And what I meant about that is I was saving money in order to get the parts and such. Plus to give me the time in order to have the car down for surgery!

If you are rebuilding it all yourself... I wouldn't mind seeing it happen in pics.

There is another thread you should reference where a member is taking pics of all the steps. He is rebuilding his himself.

Yeah I got to add it to photobucket but I can show you the finished product! New stock converter and all! All new electronics and a 5 gear planetary gear. I forgot to take pictures of everything because I was pressed for time!
