Rebuilding t56 clutch question
Are SPEC clutches any good? says they are rated to hold 425 lbs/tourqe, but i dont know anything about the comapany and if they are reliable

ive heard mixed reviews, seems the LS7 is the way to go. I'm tryin a oem Z06 i got for 253 from e bay... see how long it lasts

I know they have at least three claims out in last six months of clutchs shredding. One case coming through floorpan cutting up dudes foot. I agree LS7, stock feel, and handles clutch dumps nicely.

I have gone the SPEC route and now have an LS7 clutch. Trust me, don't bother with anything but the LS7 clutch kit. You won't be dissapointed.
2001 SS - 430 RWHP 412 RWTQ
6 spd, FIPK, Corsa exhaust, LS7 clutch, Dart Pro PP LS1 heads, custom 220/224 cam, Kooks LT's. Ported TB, Full suspension, C5 ZO6 brake upgrade.

Ls7 here too and love the stock feeling it has.
2001 SOM SS Vert 1 of 37 verts with a 6 speed. Kook LT's with cats, fast 90mm ported intake, Nick Williams 90mm TB, AFR 205's and so on. Tuning/installs done by Williams Performance.
