hey guys /gals i am looking at getting an 01 ss camaro, how can i tell if it's real or just a hood and spoiler, can i tell from the v.i.n., i had an 04 gto, but a 23 year old decided to take nap and hit me hed on with both going about 45 mph, lawyer says should be open and shut case we will see, i just need to get something quick, the ss is arctic white 6-speed 56,000 miles and they want 14,900 looks like beige leather and no t-tops.

and it should have a tag in the door as well from SLP, that says "this vehicle was modified by SLP engineering on this date, Toms River NJ. ALSO, you can get the vin and actually call SLP, and they can tell you your build number, as well if it is actually an SS

Does seeem pretty pricey. I know a guy that was selling an 02 ss for 12k here. Of course it was gone pretty quickly :P
