    question how do u know if real?

    I'm looking into buying a 98 camaro SS how can tell if its a real SS? Is there a code somewere?

    The car has the Hood, spoiler, badges on dash and exterior, and 17" ss rims in a box but all those things can be purchased from a wreck or part out.

    Should I look for something in the Vin# or doors or underneath hood? thanks guys.

    You can call SLP at 732-349-2109 ( if they are still in business) and verify via the vin if the tag is gone ( like mine ) and they can tell you build number as well.
