Hey guys , New to the GM seen, been in a mustang for 4 years now,
looking to go to the dark side...LOL. thinking of a 98-2002 camaro vert.
can i get advise on the best years (if their is any difference) as much feed back as possible would be great,

The most I plan to do with the car, as far as power are bolt-ons maybe, N2O

not many differences at all really but i would get a 01 or 02

The only major difference's I can think of is the intake's. 98-00 has a ls-1 intake w/EGR crap. 01-02 has a ls-6 intake w/no EGR crap. Cleaner looking engine bay in my opinion.

You'd be supprized. I have a 2000 F-150 that I prefer to the chevys simply because the interior and exterior styling isn't 5 years behind. And engine wise it's pretty damn strong as well.

But I'm looking to get an LS1 Camaro, so no frets.

Chevy and Ford are both blue, means they've got to join forces to Chrysler

I have herd that the 7.5 rear is a week point in camaro/TA, is their anything else to look out for

Piston slap in the LS1 is common so you can't really look out for that. Rear end, piston slap, and bubbling sail panel is all I can think of right now........

I choose my vehicles based on the drive train...that's why I don't own a ford The 5.4 triton is ok but other then that they're dogs...my buddies 4.6 had no balls in his f-150 single cab, it did look good though.
