    project Maro

What's up ladies' and gents of ls1. Project Maro is finally on its way, i repeat project maro is a go. Maybe i'm too excited but the time is finally here. I have a 2000 ss camaro A4, and I was going to just do a ful bolt on hoping to get 400 hp from what I've heard, but as i've been reading some forums that's a croc of sh*t i see. So heads and cam it is plus bolt ons. IM trying to get 400 to the wheels so any suggestions would help. i was reading a recent thread similar to mine but didnt want to jack it. Im clueless when it comes to cams, so when i do install do i need springs. I have around 4500 and slowly stacking more cash if needed. also my car has 140,000 miles so i hope this doesnt get in the way, but if you guys think i need a rebuild before all this let me know. Many questions and all answers are welcomed. My baby has been waiting too long.

With a cam you are definitely going to want to upgrade your valve train
Springs are just about a must for cam swaps
Heads are not necessary to reach 400hp but its a definite plus

    Sadly now demodded :(

Good luck achieving that and passing smog. I'd do nitrous if I was you.

For any decent cam you are going to need a stall. The stall helps drop e.t but I get the vibe at the moment you only care about hp numbers, that will change.
read the sticky's that will help with your decision a lot.
This should also be in the internal section so more people can help.

AFAIK, nitrous, approved shorty headers, LS6 intake, better exhaust (cat back), gears and a stall will give you a real fun ride that sounds nice and you'll still be legal.

I appreciate all the feedback, and no smog to worry about over here. But maybe I can get more help in internals. Sometimes reading these forums is like reading a Shakespeare book for the first time.
