Price question

Hello all, I'm looking at a 98 Z/28 with 59000 miles. It needs a tranny mount and the AC quit working. It has new Kumo's on chome wheels. Monsoon, pwl, pw, power seat. Power tuned with cat back system. automatic. paint is OK interior is good. supposed to run well otherwise. What's a good price range for something like this? he's asking 7.

I've got one you can have for $6k....and the ac is new and blows cold.

if you have 7K, offer 6k or so, and then use the rest to fix it. if it's in good shape otherwise. is it leather? and why doens't the ac work? does it need recharged?

it has cloth interior and he said the ac was working fine and then it started sqeaking and then started blowing worm. Maybe compressor has seized? It doesn't have T-tops either.

if that's your thing. but you have a ws6 already? why not put the money into that car?

because my wife has a Mitsu Mirage but I cant pry her out of my bird. I figure if I get her something nicer she'd leave my car alone. I thought that if this was a good deal I'd swoop on it and get it for her. Can you really have too many F-bodies around? The T/A is also already plenty quick. If I sink any more money into it trying to make it faster you start running into drivability factors. I've had mad-quick hot rods. the T/A is just a nice driver.
