    what happens with the car in "ACC" mode will the antenna go up?
    sounds like you have the signal wire and the power wire switched maybe??? just guessing or tapped into the wrong pin on the back of the radio.

    I did wire it into the back of the radio.. however I almost never listen to am/fm radio broadcasts so I do not need it up all the time. The switch is there to lower the antenna when the radio is on and Im listening to CDs or my XM radio.

    I'm guessing you wired the acc line to an "on" power source. You need to locate a line that goes on and off with your radio, if it's after market or you have an amp that blue wire is your best bet.

    +10, my ant is always up regardless of CD/Radio. F*cking annoying, I need to wire in a switch myself.

    I love the way the RS kits look, I'm so happy I got ahold of a low mileage Z with it from the factory
