I went to the track for the first time last Saturday and had an awesome time. My bro took a bunch of pictures so I thought I would share.

Me against a turbo diesel Dodge running mid 14's

Getting beat by some 9 second old school muscle car

Lined up against a supercharged Civic who said he was running 18lbs of boost....I won

I thought this was a cool picture of my Z-28 in the staging lines beside a early SS

I ran a worst of13.66@103.95 (1st time) and best of 13.26@103.85

Thanks, my brother is a amateur photographer. I drove 170 miles to get to the track

My car is a A4

Your times are about par. When my 02 was stock (A4 w/2.73's) it pulled a best of 13.70's @ 104ish. 1st time I ran it down the track I blew the tires off the line and turned 15 something at 100 mph. Knowing it had the mph I figured I needed to learn how to launch it.The 13.70 @ 104 was the best that night.

It got faster as I added go fast mods.

I guess I'm lucky. Firebird Raceway in Phoenix is only 4-5 miles away.

Forgot to add: Even though it's at 1250 feet above sea level the average DA is 3500+.

how is that track? im in yuma, and was thinking about making a trip up there. when do they have an open day/night to just basically test and tune?

My mods are: lid, catback, and built tranny with shift kit. I'm lucky that the track up here is at sea level basically.

wow i didn't know it was so hard to find a track. out here in jerzy, i got 2 to pick from. i live about 5 mins from Island dragway, and about an hour and a half from Englishtown RACEWAY PARK..... i guess it sucks to b you guys

Ohhhh, 170 miles good thing you didn't mess up any parts of your car otherwise that could have been a huge tow bill. Props for beating the Turbo dik-vic.
