Below is taken from this website: http://www.camarosource.ca/main_new_...police_pkg.htm

It included a 305 horsepower 5.7 liter LS1 V8 engine, a performance all-welded exhaust system designed to reduce noise and vibration, and 16-inch aluminum wheels mounted with 245/50ZR16 blackwall all-season performance tires. Also included were four (4)-wheel vented anti-lock disc ABS brakes, power steering oil cooler, 140-amp alternator, heavy-duty 525 cold-crank- amp battery, heavy-duty electrical systems for the amount of gadgets that will be put into the car by the police department. As well as 155-mile per hour speedometer, performance handling suspension, and the limited-slip rear axle ( 3.23:1 automatic or 3:42:1 manual).

That emblem looks alot like the emblem off the back of a Crown Vic. The plugs on the fender probably fill a couple of antenna holes.

I used wire connected to wrenches when I was little and had a little tv in my room. That worked pretty good.

    Mighty Fine Ride !

Lets see now. . . When I was seventeen, I had a '48 Mercury Convertible with a blown transmission. Never got it out on the road and finally sold it to get enough money ($275.00) to go to the annual beach party. . .

I also recently picked up a 2002 B4C former NC Highway Patrol unit. I probably woulda killed myself or somebody else if I had that car at 17. . .

Anyway. . . You got a really fine ride there, my man. Take care of it, and take care of yerself when driving it.

BTW, I too would like to see your door RPO sticker, so I can compare it with mine. Also, I notice your car has the Z-28 badges on it. The badges on my car were deleted at the factory.

Nice car, pnly thing that bugs me is the hood and the emblem in the rear. The chevy logo goes on the left. Not that it matters, it just looks outta place to me.
Besides that, you gotta nice Z

a 48 merc convertible with a bad trans. for $275 might be showing your age a little.

The Logo under the left taillight says Police Interceptor. Im working on fixing the gap between the headlights and front clip today I'll post pics. I bought the Z28 Badges and painted them black. Im trying to sell the car right now, I want something faster!

The one under the right tailight, the chevy logo normally goes before the Z28 emblem. No big deal, just looks awkward to me. Its like saying "Z28 Chevy" instead of "Chevy Z28".

Have to say thats some of the best advice right there. You already got a foundation, make it faster.

It's an a4...I don't want an auto I can't stand it ha. I like the M6's alot more plus it has 120,000 on it. To me it's a waste of time and money to put money into something that has high miles. I would rather buy something with lower miles and then do Heads a cam And intake or maybe just a cam an spray it with 125 shot?? Does any one have times for a Stock ls1 with 125 or 150shot? Thanks
