Paint code for '99 Pewter SS

I'm going to get my valence painted this week and I needed the paint code for a '99 Pewter Camaro. I know the '99 Pewter is a little different from the '00-'02.

First off guys your paint has likely faded some and makes it appear lighter, second off is the little bottles of touchup paint SUCK and never match and are only close. You cannot match the natural flow of the metallics on Pewter as they were sprayed from the gun. (Flip/Flop) of the metallic cannot be replicated with a brush. Your best bet is to have the area damaged repainted by blending within the panel as to not really show it has been repaired.

As for the paint code, it is on the RPO sticker on the door usually. It can also be inside the center console as well. Can't think of the code right now but when you find it, it will start with WA---- and 4 #'s after the WA. An example would be Trans Am black WA8555.

I know that's not true, i know paint can fade but whoever owned the car before me got the right color of touch up paint, just dunno where he got it.

How much do body shops charge to have paint chips repaired?
