Oxygen Sensor 2000 Z28
Can you swap the rear sensors to the front on the same bank? Are they a universal application as far as position and bank?
Thanks!

On the 1999-2002 LS1's, I believe you can.
The sensors share the same interface connector housings (according to my 2002 GM Camaro Service Manual).
Pin/Wire colors for HO2S Bank 1 Sensor 1:
Pin A = Tan/White, Pin B = Purple/White, Pin C = Black, Pin D = Pink
Pin/Wire colors for HO2S Bank 1 Sensor 2:
Pin A = Tan/White, Pin B = Purple/White, Pin C = Black, Pin D = Pink
Pin/Wire colors for HO2S Bank 2 Sensor 1:
Pin A = Tan, Pin B = Purple, Pin C = Black, Pin D = Pink
Pin/Wire colors for HO2S Bank 2 Sensor 2:
Pin A = Tan, Pin B = Purple, Pin C = Black, Pin D = Pink
The colors above are for the harness wiring to the O2 sensor interface connector.
According to the Autozone website, all four O2 sensors carry the same Bosch part number (13444), which means you can swap bank to bank as well.

Lol i had the same question months ago, so i tried it.
Yes they are all interchangeable, the only diff is the wire length.

if you get the cats gutted or take them off the rear O2 sensors will always throw on the service engine soon light.
they are supposed to be reading 'converted' exhuast, but they arent, and if you replace them, they will still throw that some code.
you need to get the PCM re-programmed, or get the O2 similators from somekind of racing company.
