This happened to me in my ol Z28, except I didn't crash. I shifted into nuetral real quick and turned the car off, tapped on the pedal a few times and it snapped loose. I pretty much figured it got stuck on the floor mat cause it was pushed up a little bit. That really sucks that she crashed her Z, nice wheels too.

These cars are already rare. There are two wrecks posted on here right now. It should have been a mustang.

Gas pedal getting stuck does seem like a logical excuse honestly after all the Toyota hype. Will have to try that next time I get pulled over on the e-way going 100+

My money is that she left her cruise on and hit the resume by mistake.....

it happened because the car had rivited c6 vette rims. f-bodies are slowly choosing to commit self suicide, rather than be seen on the road sporting c5/c6 vette wheels.
can't say i blame them either. id be in the same depressed and desparate state of mind if i was seen with those wheels in public too. sad times.

Couldn't agree with you more on that! Leave the Vette wheels to the Vette's They look ridiculous. I have yet to see one Vette with Camaro wheels on it I said it in another thread...guys should be a little more creative when it comes to picking new wheels. Some are putting on spacers and "wheel adapters" to make them fit....pitty

Ok... this made me
They aren't THAT bad though. A lot of people run with them and a lot of people like them.
The only OEM wheels on any of the V8 Fbodies that were "horrible" were the snowflakes. The 5 spokes are nice and the SS 10 spokes are fantastic looking.

i beg to differ, but to each their own.
glad my cynical, smartassed sense of humor is appreciated!
you forgot about the salad shooters like i had on my '95 z28. those were pretty bad. but i agree, not as bad as the snowflakes.
those wheels are result of 'trying to hard'. you learn those basics in Clean Design 101, of which, a lot of people simply cannot design.

I remember reading certain aftermarket throttlebodies, if not installed correctly centered, will actually bind in the intake and create a situation like this..... glad she was OK!
