    Ordered my hood today.

    I decided on a four inch cowl hood from VFN, should take about two weeks to make. Can't wait!

    The cool part about it is that they're local and that makes the build time a little quicker.

    What's it setting you back if you don't mind me asking?
    It retails for $450.00 I got a bit of a discount ($50.00) as I'm a member of another forum here in Chicago. With tax it came out to $438.41

    It's kind o funny, but they're only about a half hours drive from me. It's the shipping that gets expensive.....


    I've PM'ed a few folks on this site and some others, everyone seems to be happy with VFN's fit and finish.

    Sounds good. Post some pics once you get it.
    Should be a few weeks away, but I certainly will!

    Forget shipping. 1/2 hour drive?? I'd just pull the hood off your car,,,drive it up there and stick the sucker on in the parking lot,,,,drive it back home.

    I would have them do the fit for you. I know they have had many drive to the VFN shop and VFN did the fitting. A great company with great service. I did not have any fit issues with my VFN Sunoco...

    I'm actually going to have them install it. I recently had hernia surgery, so I'm trying to take it a little easy.
