So it appears that I ran over something early this morning... I busted my oil pan, and I'm wondering what LS oil pans will fit on my 99 LS1... Who here knows?

??? a f body oil pan will...that is all i would go for due to clearance and such. the batwing corvette style oil pan will not work in a f body if i am not mistaken and the truck style is a deeper style one and could cause clearance issues

Wouldn't hurt to check with some of our site vendors -- GM Parts Direct and KY Speed come to mind. Any boneyards down you way?

How bad is it broken? If you just cracked it, clean it up real good and get it TIG welded.

i thought because the pan is a structural piece on the ls1s that any type of repair such as tig etc is not advised

As long as the repair doesn't alter the rails or dimensions I would think it'll be ok. I have no idea the extent of the damage to the OP's pan though.

Shady is correct though -- it is a structural support for the engine. Thought I had better add this.

Its not that bad, it can be welded up... I hit something on the highway, and it dented my frame and cracked my pan a little bit... I'm just hoping I didn't wear on my bearings too much when all the oil leaked out!
