    newbie

First off, I'd like to say hi to everyone! I'm new to the LS1 family(2000 Camaro SS). I guess my first question would be, the best bang for the buck on these cars?

    Thanks,

    Mike

i would go with new rear end gear about 400-500$ for 3.73 auto and 4.10 stick it'll help your get up and go sadly drops gas mileage and increase what rpms you going to be at while driving wish i had gone with 4.10 upgrade on my trans am instead of 3.73 but i drove it 10k in a 4 1/2 months so wanted to keep gas mileage but now got a diff dd

lid of your choice, catback preferabbly magnaflow, drag radials, spark plugs and wires, a dyno tune, long tube headers and off road y pipe, short shifter from ws6store.com, lower control arms, panhard bar, subframes

that goes in order of importance and should hold you over for a while, then post back and we can give you some more dyno proven shit to buy

well i think a slp intake, a larger cam, long tube headers, and exhaust would set you up nicely, altogether that would improve your horsepower substantially

    intake-SLP www.slponline.com
cam-lunati or eagle or comp cams
lts- hooker super comp sound great
exhaust- SLP loudmouth with 3" tips

thanks for the reply everyone...I think the first mod will be the chains for the snow...lol . I did a search and I'll start with all the "free mods" then I was thinking maybe a shot of spray. What kits do you guys recommend and have the most luck with? Oh yeah, the car's auto with a shift kit (not sure which one)

    Thanks!

X2 - I have done most of these mods and really love my car now... next would be a cam or head/cam upgrade.

Well I guess that would depend on how much money you have to spend. The first mod I got was an ATI Procharger. That was kind of expensive though, but well worth it.

I have a twin turbo 98 Cobra that I spent a fortune on, so for now I wanted to start with some basic bolt ons! What size exhaust comes on these cars?? I have a 4" single cat back which came with the car. Weird to see a single tail pipe coming from the back of a tough looking car!
