    New wheels/tires, lowering help

Hopefully I'll be getting some new wheels and tires soon as well as a lowering kit. The wheels I'm wanting are 18" Foose Nitrous Blacks all-around, so my first Q is this:

What size (18x?) and offset? Not to mention, will these fit on my Camaro?

Also, I plan on getting long-tube headers in the not-so-distant future, so with that being said...

How much should I lower the car? My mechanic friend says 2".

18x8s and the largest tire youll fit is 245/40/18 18x9s or 9.5s and youll have 275/35/18s on there.....put some 10.5s in the rear and 9.5s up front and u can run 295/35/18s in the rear.....i would go that route.....2 inches is a LOT to lower your car...if u want to go that low eibach sportlines are the way to go BUT there not going to handle as good as eibachs prokit which is very popular on here...lowers the car about 1.5......im goin with strano springs which are also about 1.5 but not a progressive spring and quite stiff...when lowering the car youll also have to upgrade to better shocks as the stock shocks cant keep up.....revalved bilsteins ( 600 bucks) or konis for a lil over 700....then youll proly need an adjustable panhard rod as well which is a 100 bucks to line your rear end up...it is NOT cheap to lower your car and if u ONLY put springs in u will have a shitty handling car and probs shortly down the road....u shouldnt have a prob with longtubes as long as u stay away from slp's as they hang very low..the rest tuck under fairly nice
