So I found a guy on craigslist who is selling the front and back leather seats for a really good price. My question is, I have tan seats in my Camaro. Would it look bad if I got black seats and left the carpet tan?

Don't forget the door panels are tan too.

I saw a writeup where a guy just took some black leather and wrapped the cushion on his doors. Looked pretty good

Well gutting the entire inside is not in the budget. So do you think with leaving the door panels tan and swapping the seats it would still look good?

No, it will not look good, I have seen it before.

I don't think it would look that bad. You could save up and keep upgrading as you can afford it...

I think it would look better myself. You still have the doors to tie in with the carpet. You could get new charcoal/black mats too.

I'm thinking about just trying to find some tan driver and passenger seats and be done with it. I just can't find anybody who's parting out their car. Any suggestions would help.

I'll sleep on it. Hopefully the guy won't try and jack the price on me. How easy is it to install the seats? He has all the seat rails and wire harness so it can't be to hard, I hope. lol

4 nuts to loosen on the floor, and the seat belt guides and they come right out. Its easier than changing spark plugs

I took them out in my SS to have the leather redone. It's not hard at all if you know a little bit.

Ok good. I don't need another difficult project for a while. Changing out 2 lifters was enough for right now. Nothing like having your car spit oil at you!
