    NEED HELP!! - Halo headlights

Ok, I just purchased a set of the chrome halo's and took the car to have them installed. The proble is that they sit back WAY further then the factory lenses leaving quite a gap between the bottom of the light and the front clip. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!!

Wait... you paid someone to install one of the easiest MODs to your car...?!?!? It's not hard to do. Damn what do you do... goto GM when a light burns out ?!

Ok I'll stop picking on you. Try adjusting the screws in the sides of the light. Thats how I got mine to align correctly. If you don't like that, have a shop add a little fiber glass and paint to fill in that area. Or you can just glue in some rubber underneath to fill it.

Why ? They only add a third light (fake but looks like a third light in the middle), and a "halo" around it. They are not distracting and are no different than the BMWs. I have had mine for a while and have not been bothered. No reason to be.

Yea, gonna pay the dealer no less..lol. When I got the car I knew it had been in a naccident and the front clip isn't quite aligned right. Thant's why I was hoping they would have some "special" way to get 'em looking right...nope.

? impossible. any light shining forward that's just white light is fine. BMWs come factory with them, that's where the idea for the aftermarket ones came from. besides, they are DOT approved

Nope, those are no different than the stockers. They are just more white (not counting the coloured ones) and a little brighter. Maybe your thinking of HIDs. Those if too bright can get the person in front of you pissed off. And maybe if the cops feeling frisky he might flag you for it, but doubtfull.
