    My engine swap

Hey guys I started the engine swap on my camaro. I have learned a lot so far. Still in process for another week or so. I am sure most people saw my thread about going through a deep puddle.

Let's see, the pictures are blurry. It was hard to see the EGR.

For sure guys. And how would you go about taking it out of the bottom? I dont think our jack would do it that high.

That method would require a lift.

It can be done without a lift. All you need is a engie hoist. It can lift the front end high enough. You just need to lift it high enough to clear the motor. I know of several people that pull the motor out of the bottom at home. Again it does not require a lift.

Iv done it both ways, either way you go it can either flow smooth or be a PITA. When we dropped them from the bottom, we attached a engine hoist to the Strut tower bar and just hoisted the car up a few feet, rolled the front end out and was good to go.
