Just curious why it beeps twice if I press it once to lock it. If I press it again it only beeps once. Then to unlock it it doesnt beep at all.

it beeps twice on initial lock to conferm that it senses all doors and hatch are latched. the single one after is to conferm is is getting your request to lock. if you lock and only get one chirp then somthing is open.
there is no unlock chirp.{designed that way}
if it does chirp on unlock that means that the alarm was set off since last locked.

Yeah that makes sense. Thanks. Was curious what two beeps meant. My prelude 2 beeps meant that its unlocked. 1 beep was for locked.

If your "warning" alarm goes off (two honks of the horn) I believe it will beep once on unlock

If your actual alarm went off for the full minute, meaning more bodily harm than a bump usually, it will honk twice
