    2000 chevy camaro

my camaro is getting a swap what engine should i put in it

i was thinking an ls1 at first but now im leaning twords modding it and putting in a 327 small block is it worth it to do all the extra work to get that engine (i m getting a built 327 from a friend it has a elderbrock high rise intake and bored 40 over with 10:1 pistons a single 4barrel holly carb and built elderbrock heads and hooker headers) or the stock ls1 supercharged

    right now i have a 2000 camaro base coupe with a 3.8 v6

keep it lsx fuel injected in there. way too much potential to discard for a 327. now maybe if it was a 355 with all the mods.....but i still wouldnt pass up an lsx. not for anything less than a crate big block. but thats just me. and i would rather have an ls1 than any carburated jobby.
    but good luck either way.

Sell the V-6 Camaro for $6K, save another $4K and buy a decent LS1 F-body. You'll have way less drama and will thank me later...

If you want a 327 type cubic inch...get an LS1 and destroke it a little. Then spin the hell outta it.
Don't go anything other than LSx though.

    Sell it!!

Sell it and buy another with the LS1. Remember, you dont only have to change the engine. You have to do the suspension to handle the additional weight, etc...etc...Just not worth it. You will end up spending way more ca$h trying to mod up the one you have now. Not to mention all the time and effort.

Just sell it. Buy a nicely modded Z car that's ready to rock-N-roll!

    Enjoy the drive.

12K or best offer. about 50K on it. Numbers matching all original. If it ever warms up I'll be getting it cleaned up and up for sale. It'll be at the Jefferson county car show not this weekend, but the following one.
