Yea its a 2SS/RS with the L99 400 HP 6.2.

the manual is LS3 425. I have the automatic. I got it for MSRP at around $37k, before the tax and licence costs.

no its not the ls3 cuz its an auto the autos dont have the ls3

oh yeah somehow i missed that. very nice car though. and the price seems right on there are lots on ebay for 40 k and up. with 1k plus miles on them.

auto's got the L99, 6-spds got the LS3

Yes, L99 are the autos and LS3 are the manuals.

I don't get why the RS package goes on the SS, makes no since to me. I thought the older ones where there own package, like something before the Z28?

yeah....chevy has always screwed with badging...Z28 used to to be the top dog, then the SS, now back to Z again.

RS used to be a V6 with a Z28 suspension. then they made that standard on V6's, to the RS was a body kit. then it kind of went away all together ( for registration purpose a 4th gen V6 says Camaro coupe RS) and now the RS is a body kit again, and available on all models
