    Not really
Yesterday I filled up...$4.76 a gallon. So I tried shifting at or under 2,000RPMs-
WOW!!!! I've almost doubled my previous MPG! (used to get 50 miles/quarter tank, its sitting in the driveway with 89 @ 3/4 of a tank)
plus I put a new clutch master cylinder (with the restriction bored out).
    I'm really happy with it!
    BTW-i got 3.42 rear end

How much do you get? I don't know how to post pics on the website but its a black SS with center exhaust, i've done very little mods, a throttle body and a preditor prog. It came with most slp options: exhaust, suspension, grill, and zr-1 rims. I did buy the anniversary rims which i think look great on my car.
My 2000 Auto gets about the same as yours 235 miles to the tank Around Town.

Try going 1-3-5 with 6th if you're going over 40. Always shift around 1500-1800. It won't dog the engine if done properly. That's how I get good mileage with my 98.

Last fill up was 12.2 gallons at 243 miles. Thats in excess of 19.9 mpg. Not bad for a V8 with 175,xxx miles on it. This was all city driving. No freeway.

That is probably in the high 20s to 30 depending on how your gauge read

The public needs to know these cars will lay down some mileage.
I have heard in excess of 32 mpg with the M6 when driven nice.

I averaged 16.5 last time i filled up, about 95% city. Now though I'm doin pretty good, did some highway driving and I'm at 220 with a little over 1/4 tank to go. Usually it takes about 13.5 gallons to fill up.

Quick question, what's the minimum speed you guys use 6th gear at? I usually only use it if I'm doin 60+, but today I realized I can cruise at barely above idle doing 50 in 6th. Which is better??

I average 18.68 mpg during my last fill up with 98% city driving with 13.189 gallons of sunoco 94 octane, but when i drive I-71 to columbus i get somewhere between 25-30 mpg on the highway since when i get back to cincy i still have half a tank left and then it's all city driving and i still average 23-24 mpg.

I use 6th when I'm over or at 45mph on the street. That's right about idle at 1100-1200 rpm.

I used to be able to hit 6th at speeds down that low, but with the big cam, it's now at speeds above 60 only, and that's pushing it! I can't remember the term for it when you have a big cam and it "chugs" at low RPM's with no load, come on Flat Possum I know you know what it's called, please enlighten me.
