I get about 13 miles per gallon around town. It went down after the TC. I do have about 25 red lights one way to work.
I did not buy it for the gas mileage.

I hate the gas mileage my A4 3.23 gets, but it was worse. It used to get 190 miles to the tank (15.5 MPG) and now it gets around 210-230 miles to the tank (16-17 MPG). This is because of a fuel filter swap, seafoam, and different driving routes. I have a new set of Granatelli wires & NGK TR55 Iridium's and gotta install them to see how they change my mileage, but it seems promising.

after the pulley mod, which claims 10rwhp and 2-3 mi/gal.. I see a little
change in the gas/mi ratio. I used to do 270mi/ tank.. now I average 290mi/tank. I figured the pulley ($150) will pay for itself in a year, so I still get
better gas milege ratio and yeah the 10 more horsies to keep...

Yeah I agree. I have always ran my gas down to the last drop and never had any problems. I have heard people saying dont because the crap in the bottom will screw up the system. Where the hell did that crap come from then. If its building up that much to do damage then in about 10 years I should have a 1/2 tank of crap I guess???? I will leave my fuel filter to take care of that!

As for MPG, I think that is something that needs to be done for some period of time. Doing it just once and adding it up is not all that accurate and you get these guys posting that they get 39mpg with 3.73's.
