    Merry Christmas

    Thank You UPS dudes.

Merry Christmas to me, er, umm, Merry Christmas to the Z28

I goofed and ordered the SLP Loudmouth II - but noticed and sent a quick e-mail, luckily there was that huge snow storm over in Maryland, which kinda delayed the whole thing.

They sent me a note stating they were switching my order to the SLP Loudmouth I - Yesss

I thought these would be longer, but thats what she said. bwhaa haaa, but sweeeetie, ya think ya can handle this THREE incher? bwhaaa haaa

A friend installed one of these system on his Cobra, said it was easy. . .So I'm debating on installing it myself. . . .hhmmmm

Jeff said everything went together great

but I was wondering about leaks? hmmm? to weld the system of just use the clamps provided? I haven't aquired a welder yet. . .

I'm an experienced TIG welder and I can arc weld, but I don't even have a MIG. . . . hhhmmm, the muffler shop quoted me a $70 installation fee, but I'm thinking he was just low cuz he ain't seen the work required yet. . ??

stay tuned, I'll post up more pict-o-grams of the installation. If it wasn't so cold here in Ohio, I am almost stoked enough to start - too freaking cold, even with the heater going. . . whooosssssy

    lol, a sweater?
it's f'n cold on the floor out in the garage. The propane heater depleats the oxygen in under an hour out there. I always bring the carbon monoxide sensor out there - whales the alarm with-in the hour.
Toasty warm at roof level, but I'd be under the car for what I'm guessing is 6 or 8 hours? cuz I ain't got a lift. just a floor jack with some jack stands.
It ain't bad for the 20min oil change task. . .

sweater? like the one Hugh Hefner wears? LOL. . .

Merry Christmas and ditto. Later down the line, after a 2nd order through SLP I learned not to feel so glorious about SLP

I'm thinking you're right. I got a chance today to dry fit the pieces together and I'm probably just going to install it myself. Looks easy enough.

As long as you know which end of the screwdriver fits in your hand and which end turns the screw, you have enough mechanic skill to install it yourself. Its that easy.

    I've spent 26years of my career as a toolmaker/machinist,
I can make "screws", I certainly know a screwdriver.
there are many different types of screws.
Acme threads. I can chase internal and external (nut and bolt) acme thread.

How'z about a spiral lock thread? Have you heard of a spiral lock thread?
surgeons use bone screws with spriral lock threads. Bone screws? used to bolt broken bones together. . .

The exhaust system will proabably get the impact gun treatment, no screwdrivers. . . .

    It's all good.

Didn't mean to imply you needed a screwdriver for the job or anything negative about you. Just meant to show its THAT simple of a task
