    Red face MAF's and TB's

I hear that aftermarket MAF's are a waste of time untill you hit some big hp, is that true? and im not to smart with the whole throttle body thing, I see 78mm, 80mm and 90mm, what do you guys recomend? Is it worth it at all?

Far as I understand it...the stocker maf is good for 500 ponies. Also aftermarket maf's can be harder to tune for...most tuners wanna stocker on there. Just port your stock TB...a FAST 90mm TB and manifold is good for a high hp cam/head and/or FI motor...but for a bolt-on with mild/decent cam a ported TB and ls6 manifold is good IMO.

Definatly disagree......ask anyone else anything that brings more air into an LS series engine makes a differance BIGTIME!!! my advice is to go with something smaller like the slp or granatelli 85mm instead of the F.A.S.T. 90mm

Or do like we did, get speed density tuning and run without a MAF.
