Ah, the notorious M6 vs. A4 argument. You'll hear a lot on this one, but the basics come down to this: The M6 will have less power loss to the Wheels than the A4, however with a good Stall and proper bolt-ons, they'll come close to equal. The A4 will yield more consistent track times, and for an entry level driver, better track times all together. However, once you learn to nail the shift points and understand a proper launch, the M6 will equal out. In my personal opinion, the M6 is plain and simply more fun to drive. I live in Myrtle Beach, with day to day toursit traffic; i.e. stop and go, and I still wouldn't have it any other way. If you want something, you should wait, otherwise it'll only be a matter of time before the want becomes a need.

Had an M6 for 4.5 years, now I have an A4. Sometimes you wanna just grab some gears, but the A4 is definitly not dissapointing. Decide based on what you want and your daily driving requirments.

I've probably had 25 Camaros since 1971 and some have been autos and some sticks. Hands down, if you want to have a blast, go with the 6-speed, my '93 Z-28 got 28 mpg (no lie) on the highway @ 75 mph. Some cars are OK with automatics, but if you really want to drive the car, you have to shift it.
    My two cents.
