LS3 engine swap in my 99 SS
with the l92 heads 378 cid 6,300 i think from SDPC ls3+ ls1 hot cam= 480 HP, or 6,000 LS3 430+big cam,all bolt-ons,maybe kooks or slp headers,=500+HP i mean dam 50 hp out of that ls1 hot cam u could get alote more iv checked the LS3/L92 head flow #s and they are great LS7 is 12,oook or maybe a custom LS3 short block + ls7 heads,intake u gota have biger than a 4.00 bore to get anything outa LS3/LS7 heads its a great leap from ls1 i got every bolt-on and was gona get heads n cam but now i want new motor guys tell me wat i have to do to get it runing in my car???? would i need the controller Kit? becouse idk if it will work with my gauges n stuff my car is 99

Wow.... that took awhile to dissect that post...
Instead of going that route, look into an LQ9 truck block and build a stroker.

OK take it easy on him, He is new and it sounds like his brain is working overtime. That is a lot to disect though.
Bro, make sure you use proper punctuation on here. People can be very brutal, trust me. You have thrown alot out there. I built a 408 a few years back and sure loved that engine. It took a 300 shot like it was just a breath of fresh air. Do not get sold on all the big name stuff, it is good but can be built alot cheaper and produce more horsepower. My next build is a low compression 408 with 91mm thumper series. I hope to make around 1100 rwhp.

im trying to find out wat combo works best for the $ the LS3 heads flow like 330 at max lift. LS7 heads are big! they say 4.00 bore or biger for LS3 heads. sorry id been up all night. with a 24 tooth reluctor wheel u can use the stock computer right?. with a ls7 and harness to make it work u cant use stock guages!. i think u can get LS3's in the 24

uhh does any of u guys know wat u gota do to get a LS3 or any 58X to run without geting a new guage cluster?. i was reading the new GM high tech perf they had a T/A WS6 LSX 24X reluctor running on our stock PCM or ECM. but but the camaro had a LS7 with wet sump. they had put harness kit with gas pedal,O2 sensor,MAF meter,aftermarket guages in cluster? GUYS with LS2's,LS3,LS7 n custom what did u have to do? get the motor runing? thanks guys
