Thats gonna be pricey, how much is a ls3, 7-10,000? On ebay the cheapest buy it now is 10,500 and most are set at 11,500.

$9,568.99 for a ls3 427 stroker...with everything you will need to bolt her into a 4th gen ...this is including the intake manifold so i would look there instead of for a gm crate engine

you really outta look into building an LS6, or an LQX iron truck motor, MUCH more bang for your buck. would hate for you to put 80% of your funds into just the motor itself, unmodded.

GMHT did a budget build on a LQ9 and for 11,000 dollars they pulled some pretty good numbers. It wasnt to wild and could still easily be streeted. Obviously you could make it as nasty as you want.

lsxrebel I have a 2001Ws6 T/A that I am planning to change to an LS3 combination. In doing my research I found a complete installation of a LS376/480 crate engine. In GM High Tech Performance, Feb and March 2009 they show everything you need to complete the installation. This engine puts out 480 HP from the factory. The newest information is the E-Rod kit. GMperformanceparts.com, part number 19244805. This is the LS3 that comes in the Camaro and Vette. The difference is this engine is suppose to get better gs millage while giving you 430HP. It comes with the ECM and harness.
I will pass on any information I come I see. I would like a warrantied 480 or 430 HP engin.
2001WS6 T/A slp lid, smooth bellows, Taylor Thundervolt wires, Bosch+4, Vig 3200 stall, BM trans cooler, SLP 3" Y-pipe, 3" corsa catback, preditor custom tune by RWTD, 275/17BFG'S. 1976T/A 455-4spd-3:42
