i have bbk long tubes and bbk ory . also loverd on sportlines. its not bad , sure it hangs realy low but , as long as your cautious of speed bumps and pot holes you will be ok , also after riding with the sportlines for a year , i would like to upgrade. sportlines are a bit on the harsh side

I have LT's and Borla c/b setup and I just removed my Sportlines and installed Summit Racing springs. I scraped EVERYTHING and EVERYWHERE with the Sportlines and I hated the ride, they were great for the track though.

QTP fits this department well for lowered cars.

I have qtp lt sportline drop, and a tubular k member that dropped the car even more. Screwed up the oil pan so bad the drain plug was ground in half. i couldn't even get in my driveway. raising it back up with the summit springs when i change the clutch and oil pan. hey mild how do you like the looks of the summit springs?

I couldn't be happier to be honest! I'm so happy I took out the sportlines and went with the Summit's, it still sits low and looks good but I'm not cringing every time i see a pot hole or a speed bump !

    hey mild2wild,

Are you running on stock shocks with the summit racing springs? did you need a new adjustable pan handle bar or whatever they are called?

No, I put KYB AGX adjustables up front and KYB Gas-adjusts in the rear when I put in the Summit Racing springs, didn't need to replace anything else...

so if i want to lower my TA then i pretty much need to get new shocks cause i think the stock shocks don't cut it or will not very last very long? anyone know why the stock shocks won't last long with lowered springs?

The previous owner of my SS installed the Sportlines before I bought it, he left the stock shocks on and when I removed the Sportlines and the stock shocks, 3 out of 4 of the shocks were bad. My car only has 37000 miles on it... IMO Sportlines are too aggressive for stock shocks.

interesting, is their any softer lowering springs that would go well with stock shocks?

I got you, I had sportlines with pacesetter LTH on my car. I got nice pics from under the car if you want to see, but basically I had enough room to turn my keyfob sideways and fit it under the exhaust, no more. I loved the look, almost driveable. Speed bumps are an absolute NO, no possible way to get over them, and at any speed small bumps in the road will show your headers or cats if you have them whos boss. I don't know if I would do it again, I would have done pro kit and the exhaust. SFC's are a good buy as well if you hit anything big they might hit instead of the exhaust.
