    Na you'd be surprised what you can have custom built and how much power you can create. You buy a forged block with all forged parts and that engine will last you a long time. HAHA give me 30k and i'll build you a motor that makes 800 hp...lol.

    a warranty means alot if some run of a mill shop builds ur car for cheaper ya you might more power but for how long and if u drive 30 miles down the road and u throw a rod or whatever ur sol but with a warranty ur covered..... plus u get what u pay for its not always about the best bang for ur buck but quality work that will last

    I'm not saying going the cheap route at all. You can get one hell of a motor for even 10k-15k. You can buy all forged crank, pistons everything. You research a creditable speed shop and the work will be done right. There's a cheaper and smarter way to create power rather than buying a crate motor from lingenfelter thats all i'm saying.

    There is a blue SS in owensboro that has one that appears in car shows from time to time.
