I grew up in Los Angeles and lived there for 43 years. Here in Washington, it's a whole different story, no cats, long tubes, cold air intake, big lumpy cam, my cars a spittin' and rumblin' away at idle while they simply plug into the OBD and the guy smerks and yells over the cars exhaust.."Congrats sir, you passed!" They don't even open the hood! It kills me.
    10 minutes, $15 bucks, 2 years..I love Washington!
Yeah Cali is really when it comes to emissions

Well I got it all installed and did it on my own. the only part that was a real SOB was when I took off the coil pack on the pass side. That rear coil pack bolt was a PITA to get to!!! None the less I left that one off after reinstalling it lol. Other than that it runs like a beast and sounds like a pissed off grizzly bear!!!! Im sending the PCM in on monday for the tune

For the most part, I think there are 5 counties with emissons laws, Tarrant, which is where Austin is, a few in the Dallas area, El Paso, and one random one.

5 countys sournding houston bc all the damn big rigs and chemical plants but you can go get a 7.3 power stroke ripp all the exhaust off and blow black smoke like a oil rig fire all day long up and down the freeway and none one says a word F-in EPA. all they do here in Harris county where houston is 90% in lol ....is hook your car up to the PC and rev the motor to i think its 1500 to 2100 rpm and make sure you have cats(or something that looks like cats lol) and a muffler and again (something that looks like a muffler lol)then they check your gas cap to make sure it holds a section. and theres still the good oh boys that you can come into thumbin the shit out of the ground and ask them how much dose it take to pass lol and your good lol
