Ive never seen this on a camaro...ever
so when i bought the car i didnt think much of it at the time other than oh hey thats cool inve never seen that before. but as summer passed and numerous car shows and internet reasearch and other shit people have always asked about it and all ive ever been able to respond is....ummmmmmm, iono hahah so maybe you guys have seen this before but its the section right after the ttops and mine is a little diiferent...
yeah..its leather hahahah

and excuse the filthyness of the car but that was right before i washed it and you can see the lines in the leather but its not dry rotted or anything but it was just covered in crap

Thats an aftermarket vinyl add on. probably done when the top started to bubble from a factory flaw, it was popular back in the 70's and 80s on certain cars, and amour all will ruin and crack it.

any good ideas on how to keep it clean and keep it black? because if it gets dry rotted that shit would look hidieous

a girl at my school has a yellow camaro with big ghetto rims, but i parked by her the other day. and noticed her panel was repainted, and it had rainbow metal flake mixed in with the black

every time i see a vinyl top on a newer car i think hale damage...lol my friends dad owns a body shop and hes done that cuz its easier/cheaper then mud and paint

It probably did get the bad bubbles. Not really my thing though. I'd slap some Zaino leather cleaner & conditioner on there.

i have heard about the bubbles and stuff and i actually do see a small one forming underneath it but i guess the previous owner thought it was cool?i thinks its pretty ok its different but there no point in it being different if it looks dumb and no one likes it.
so, what do you guys think? yey or nay
