Thats an aftermarket vinyl add on. probably done when the top started to bubble from a factory flaw, it was popular back in the 70's and 80s on certain cars, and amour all will ruin and crack it.

a girl at my school has a yellow camaro with big ghetto rims, but i parked by her the other day. and noticed her panel was repainted, and it had rainbow metal flake mixed in with the black

It probably did get the bad bubbles. Not really my thing though. I'd slap some Zaino leather cleaner & conditioner on there.

Yep, that's a bubble fix. I've got to say, I never would have thought to have gone the vinyl t-top route...

i have heard about the bubbles and stuff and i actually do see a small one forming underneath it but i guess the previous owner thought it was cool?i thinks its pretty ok its different but there no point in it being different if it looks dumb and no one likes it.
so, what do you guys think? yey or nay

Well, it's interesting. And, unless you're willing to shell out for a new panel, it's gonna be around for a while

It's unique. Not bad. Just different.
