    I've got 3 challenges.. what do you think

    Ok so I messed my transmission pretty bad about 6 months ago and had no car (was riding a bike back and forth to work) and I finally bought a transmission and a 3600 stall. Well here are my challenges a couple guys that I went to school with come back from college for the summer with new cars. One guy has a 06 300c hemi, one has an infiniti g37s with a filter and catback and the last guy bought a 92 5.0 mustang with filter, lts and x pipe and catback. And I think maybe some other lil stuff. All of them are talkin a lot of shit about my ls1. They all want to race for money. They are all lil rich kids with big mouths. Should I take all their money and show them all what a real car is?? Or do I let them talk and race them no money and shut em up? I kinda feel bad since I know for a fact a three kids can't drive... especially the 5.0 and the g37s(both manuals and both need to learn how to drive) .....and the only one who should give me problems is the g37s but he can't drive... I've got pacesetter lts and y, magnaflow catback, slp lid and filter, and now a performabuilt level 2 transmission with a 3600 stall. What do you say I do?

    i say race em for shits n gigs, then maybe keep the race close or whatever and offer a rematch for money

    i agree...a tune will open up your potential to truly kick some ass.

    the hemi is tough, but the 300C is a tank. the 5.0 shouldnt be an issue. but those G37s are pretty quick cars. I know the G35 stock is just a hair slower 0-60 than an LS1, but yours is modded.

    There could also be a difference whether the G37 is a coupe or sedan

    yeah the g37s is a coupe. and the 300c is NOT a srt its just the regular hemi.

    Well I just saw a '02 Camaro with the same mods as you, but with a stock tranny and stall, run a 13.0@106. He's tuned, however.

    So once you get a tune, you'll wipe the floor with all of them, especially that Stang. 5.0's were the shit 20 years ago, but they aren't anything now, at least not with just a exhaust. I'd be amazed if he gets that thing out of the 14's, especially if he can't drive.

    300C is too heavy to really be fast, and you have about the same hp (you probably have more, actually). The G's look good on paper, but they don't have the torque of the LS1, so they shouldn't be a problem either.

    g35s are slow as balls ive raced 2 on the high way from 3rd and put 2 cars on them at the very least before they let out and make excuses. G37s however are closer to a 370z and if you arent running under a 13 i could be very close.

    If the guy with the g37 cant drive well at all your golden.

    again if they are honest it is no competition. dig or roll is no comparison. the 5.0 doesnt have the top end with stock internals. neither does the g37. the 300c is just too heavy. the hemi is similar to the ls1 in power but that car is just too heavy. not to mention yours is modded. get your shift points set and a/f set for those headers and its a done deal.
