Interior Restoration

My SS came with the tan leather, and I want to change it all to ebony black leather along with the carpet, panels, etc. Anyone know a place where you can buy the parts?

I don't know from any ONE place, but you definitely can find most of the interior.

I'd look at Katzkin for new leather for seats. Ebay has complete carpet and floormats. As far as the panels go, you could look at a junkyard, or just do a complete custom job.

I want to do the exact same thing. Year One has a lot of the interior panels, carpet and small stuff.

Unless it's trashed or worn out it seems like it's more of a pain than it's worth. Why not just find an SS with black interior?

Rather simple. Me and my best friend did all of his in about 2 hours.

Well for me it was just too good a deal to pass up. 98 SS M6 Black Vert with 18K original miles for $13K, garaged and babied. And that was last April.

I live in Tempe and my car has tan (Taupe really) interior and it is indeed cooler than the charcoal gray that was in the Silver vert I traded it for.

Although here in The Valley of the Sun HOT is HOT is HOT! Not a whole lot of difference when you get into you're car and the interior is north of 140 F!
