    illinois and chicago camaros.

    i just got my illinois license plates after dreading it for a month but now i gotta figure out what to do with the front plate. is there any body out there who knos of any loop holes and maybe some ideas to make it look decent. my only idea right now is to either just go without it or go with the slp bracket. any ideas will help thanks a lot.

    yea we have to have them in ohio too... sucks all my friends have got busted... like they will ever chase me in reverse...lol you could put sumthing soft around it and put it in on the dash by the windshield but i dunt know if they would through a fit about that or not...

    in NY it is a requirement to have one but it looks so bad ill risk the $40 ticket.....ive had mine for over a year with no plate and if i ever get pulled over its not gunna be for the plate its always muffler and noise violations

    Your supposed to display both plates here in wisconsin as well, I think its hideous so I don't have mine on the front. I believe its like $135 ticket if you get one from a trooper. I've been pulled over once but was just given a warning. The city cops don't care here

    Buy the SLP bracket. Then, just go without and when and if you get pulled over, just tell the cop that you've got the bracket and will put it on.

    I don't have a front plate either. That's my plan though
