    And to the inflation is good people. That would be the case if our economy was strong, not the treasury printing out stacks of now almost worthless paper

    The new Camaro also has gained a foothold as one of the current culture's "gotta have one" cars. There is a wealthy residential area nearby me where 2 brand-new Camaro SSs popped up in one week. One replaced a Lamborghini in the driveway. So no matter who is buying them, I think Chevy should sell enough of them to fund the next generation until they are ready to introduce gen 6 and once the convertible is introduced, even more people will gravitate towards the gen 5. Hopefully the option doesn't cost too much more.

    I think the 5th Gen would have sold/selling better if the Coupe and Convertible had came out at the same time ..

    they did the same thing with conception of the fourth gen.. there are no '93 verts
