That one in your link is not a factory GM hurst shifter. That is the aftermarket Billet Plus Hurst shifter with a short stick installed on it.

I ran MGW, Hurst Billet, and Pro 5.0 each for over a year and liked the pro 5.0 least out of all of them actually. It felt too notchy. The hurst billet felt awesome with a short stick but didnt feel extremely accurate at WOT. Never really missed gears but didnt feel too solid. MGW feels better to me than the 5.0. Really solid feeling into each gear and at WOT is awesome. Shifters are all subjective though. No one is the best for everyone. Just one thats best to you.

I've heard mention of this MGW shifter a couple of times now, but I haven't seen it available anywhere. Where are you guys finding it? I'd like to have a look at it. I need more details before I plunk money down.
I didn't like my Hurst Billet and my wife hated it even more.

Hmmm, strange looking setup with the extra piece to kick the arm over to the side. Looks like it would interfear with the console top. Not sure I wan't to go that route. Thanks for the pics.

Anytime. It doesn't have any issues with the console either. Everyone I know running it has 0 issues as well.

I'd like to see pics with the assembly installed and done if possible.
I've had a few different shifters on our T56's, and driven another one with a pro 5.0 shifter. I've just never been that happy with any of them.
Probably not so much the shifters fault, I just can't stand the notchy feeling these T56's have, and haven't seen a shifter yet that gets rid of that feeling. Actually for us, the aftermarket shifters seemed to magnify the problem. Just the nature of the beast I guess.
We ended up going back to the stock GM Hurst shifter, as it was the less notchy of the bunch, but still not what I want. My wife is happy though and that's more important
