    HP gains

I have a 2000 camaro ss 6 speed. I'm putting on pacesetter longtube headers and magnaflow mufflers. It is going to be a true dual set up w/o converters. What kind of horse power gains am I looking at?

On a dyno maybe not much... ~25hp... but you will definitely feel the difference when you hit the pedal.

might as well do an LS6 intake manifold while your at it. if you do race style headers you can get rid of your AIR and ERG if you dont have to worry about emmisions. then send your computer to Frost and have him do a mail order tune for you. this will eliminate your ses light as well. your looking at more like 35-40 horse at that point.

The car is going to be loud as hel#! I hope you like a VERY loud car. Trust me, it is annoying. I have the pacesetter headers with no cats and a stock muffler, and it is louder than loud! Just a heads up.

Ditto, I hate the sound of my car with the pacesetters and no cats. Way too loud. Just a heads up. I am thinking about selling my car it is so loud.

I put on my headers and the magnaflow exhaust. I my opinion the magnaflow sounds horrible. Just not my cup of tea. Im going to get that redone. Sending my computer to frost Monday.

I used a stainless steel 4x9 univeral magnaflow mufflers. It sounds dang awesome at idle to about 2500 rpms. But when hammered down it has a loud sound that doesn't have the classic muscle car sound like my other camaro had.

Your LS1 will never have the "classic" SB/BB Chevy V8 sound as the firing order is different.

I also have Magnaflow mufflers with TD's dumped at the axle and I love the sound. It's different from my BBC 67 with FlowMasters though...
    67 Camaro: K-K + 797-z (look it up), 454/Th400/4.10 12-bolt = 6mpg, PS/PDB/PW tilt, tach, gauges...

2005 Corvette LS2/M6 Magnetic Red Metallic (What else would it be?) w/ Cashmere interior

    2002 Z28: NBM/Tan, MTI smooth lid, smooth bellows, !AIR, !cats, 1-3/4" QTP SS LT's, 2-1/2" TD's with X-pipe, MagnaFlows dumped at axle, custom welded SFC's, MidWest Chassis body mount adjustable T/A, 3400 stall, 3.23 gears (was 2.73). Tuned: 343rwhp/357rwt (before TD's). Best: 12.559 @ 108+, 1.73 60' @ 3500' DA w/MT ET Street DR's.

Dude! JUST enjoy WHATEVER gains you get from this set up. I know your excited, but don't get too caught up in numbers at THIS point......my 02..........It's a good idea to focus on real numbers when you decide to get some real horsepower gains from: Hi performance Camshaft, LS6 intake and heads..................

    Agreed

Numbers don't mean anything if you can't put the power to the pavement.

Well maybe it's because I am over 40 now, but the car is louder than loud! But I do also have a cam!
