How to replaced the LED brake light in spoiler

All,
New member. I have a 2001 Camaro SS M6.
My 3rd brake light in the spoiler broke the plastic around the screw holes so its barley hanging on. I got a replacement from SLP which has long leads for the wiring. Does anyone know the path of the wiring? Where should i spice in the new wiring? Has anyone replaced this, or have pics? Just want to know what im getting myself into.

You'll find the factory light is plugged into the harness underneath one of the rubber plugs in the bottom of the decklid.

I used a piece of bailing wire to fish the new harness through the decklid.

I guess you have noticed by now the new SLP light doesn't come with the factory plug.

You can splice and dice if you want,,,I'm not a hack (no offense) so I chose to hit the dealer for a pair of factory wire connectors and the factory plug so I could finish off the new light the way it should have come in the first place.
After that it's a pretty straight forward R&R.
