well the last 2 f bodys i own teo TA's, ive painted the upper dash panel that connect to the cluster. and everytime there is a big chance of scratching when putting back on. theres these lil knobs on the dash panel that can sracp everything and when its painted it can be bended like when it wansnt.

it will just be a lot easyier to do it w/o the tilt lever there for reinstall

    Drop the steering column down.
Let me know how it turns out! I am considering doing this myself! Are you painting it gloss black?

It just unscrews, but they usually have loctite on them. I have put a piece of rubber fuel line around them before and unscrewed with a pair of vise grips. hope this helps.

If you want your questions to be answered, learn how to spell! Its that simple! I could have easily passed over your thread cause it looked like a 8 year old wrote it! You don't even use periods!
