How much to repaint a 4th gen.

Hello,

I recently found my old 96 SS, but it looks like it will be in need of a paint job. I was wondering if anyone has repainted one the original color with about a factory quality paint job. I am just curious how much it would cost. I am trying to figure out if it would be worth the trouble or not. Thanks for any info.

About 4500 to 6500 for a quality job. Depends on how much body work is needed. Thats if you keep it the same color. If you like sanding, and don't mind some work you can save a bunch of money for go fast goodies. And buy the way any Camaro is worth the effort. I did sell it back in 1998 when I was in school. It is one of those things I wish I didn't do, but I did and it did pay off. Now I want it back. Kind of strange, but I think most would understand. Thanks for the advice so far. Jeff
