ditch the HPPIII and get a tune. the HPPIII leans out your a/f ratio and is actually robbing power from you (over time can blow a head gasket or burn a hole in a piston). i know because I had an HPPIII on my car when I had lid, bellow, SLP LM. I went and dyno'd my car. first run was with the HPPIII (320/328) and the second was detuned back to factory (325/332). i gained both HP and TQ. Sell the HPPIII and save up another $150-$200 and get a real tune. you will be happy you did, especially once headers are on...

well i have a 99 SS m6 and i have a lid, smooth bellow and SlP loudmouth 2 cat-back and i hit the dyno the other day and made 325rwhp/337rwtq......so i would say you will be more than that.....i still have stock manifolds, stock y-pipe, and stock cats with no tune at all.

Nice, u have the exact same setup right now as i have. So i can expect a little over 330-335 hp after headers and y pipe.
