How Much HP Should I have?
I'm wondering what kinda gains I should expect from a full bolton, 383 stroker, TRex Cam, 3.73 gears. Really just lookin for a rough idea...

There is a guy around me with full bolt on W/ just a cam and I believe he was around 390ish... also is it a M6 or A4?

i would say with a good tune at least 430 to the wheels. you will definatley make over 400 to the wheels and over 450 flywheel horsepower

Your gonna need more gear with that cam!

I have an A4 which is why I only wanted 3.73's.
I'm getting a Vig. 3600 stall and trans cooler as well.
I'm running stock heads (241's)...
I'd be happy breakin the 400 mark I guess.
They told me the 383 stroker kit should give me about 50lbs of troque & I think they said 50hp.

2002 Z28 A4 NBM- Sadly now demodded :(
With a well prepped engine and good tune and a few supporting mods you should be able to do approx 1hp/cid. More/better supporting mods (i.e., TD's) along with heads/cam will be even higher.
For example, my 02 with CAI, LT's, ORY and cutout put down 343rwhp/357rwt with a good tune.
In the next couple of months I will go back on the dyno as I've add TD's to my setup. I'll also be going to the track in the next couple of weeks as I've added 3.73 gears and an adjustable TA to the mix.

Silver- 2003 GTI 1.8T :(
thats a pretty good setup because the trex is such a radical cam... but the 383 can handle it since it has more displacement. i guess around 470 to the wheels depending on what kind of kit it is... etc...

is it a stock compression 383?? the compression matters alot.
M6, Lid, Ported and Polished Throttle Body (By Me!), LT, Custom Catted Y, Electric Cutout, PHB, LCA13.21@108 with a 2.3 60'
