How Do I Find This

Ok Guys and Gals in 98 I bought a Red SS hardtop automatic with Arctic White interior. It had no SLP added options. In the 2 years after I was talked into trading it for a truck ( stupid move ) but non the less, I tried to buy the car back and was too late twice! Anyway the question is how do I find out how many of these were made and easiest way to track it down without the VIN? Thanks in advance for any info.

If your trying to find a specific vehicle your going to need the vin. Some of your finance paperwork should have the vin on it. Old insurance cards etc etc. Thats your best bet..

If you had a loan on the vehicle you can call the bank you had it through, they will most likley still have it on file. I got my old 2000 T/As vin from wachovia and tracked it down. It was at a dealership but was recently sold, i would like to buy it back next year. It only had 1500 more miles than i sold it with.

98 was eleven years ago, most places have to keep info for 5-7 years. So im not sure if this will help in your case.

Well guys thanx. I would really like to find this car, the last time I seen it some punk ass kid had riced the lights out and blew the motor with a dry nos kit. Hell its probably totalled out or a hunk of shit by now but its worth a try? I loved that car more than my GF at the time which was the major part in me getting rid of it. We ended up married and now divorced so I lost all the way around? What a Bitch!!!

I know how you feel. I had to sell my car bc my wife maxed out all my credit cards. Now I'm divorced, and not long ago found my car on eBay (recognized the VIN) with 11,000 more miles on it 8 months after I sold it. Still looked just as clean, tho. But I couldn't afford to buy it back.

Oh don't get me wrong the Pewter one's not leaving ever but I would really just like to have the red one back for some odd reason, maybe first love you never get over kinda thing? I am buying a 99 NBM B4C car in a couple weeks but that red one is like the mythecal BIGFOOT to me it has been seen and disapears before I can get to it? DAMMIT ! Oh well should be kicked in the ass for letting my EX persuade me to get rid of it? Just the constant nagging finally got to me?

should have punched her in the neck. my girl knows the camaro isnt going anywhere. if a situation happens and a divorce happens down the road i will sign the car to my dad before she gets a chance to get it. if it needs a sale slip itll be for $1 dollar so she can get 50 cents worst case scenario lmao. and after its all said and done hell sign it back to me. but it is in my name only so i dont know how that stuff goes. and im not worried about it. 21 and not gettin married anytime soon.

Well IMO marriage is highly over rated!!! The whole signing it over shit don't work if she has a good attorney your still screwed!! The big deal was at the time I had, Honda XR250, Kawasaki ZX-7R, 95 Toyota 4-Runner and the SS? So she teamed up with my mom and half of my friends for sort of a intervention kinda deal? lol They plead the case I had too much shit and the SS and ZX-7 needed to go and I would be better off with a truck? WTF ? Hey I gave in? Should have just traded her ass in on a newer model with less miles and a better paint job!!!!!!

as for the good attorney. just remember the line from casino. its in the desert where alot of the towns problems are solved. gotta love vegas lol. trust me if in the situation the simple z28 that is currently worth 5k, and only getting lower, will stay with me in the long run.

Well that was in 99 and I have lived and learned alot since then and now I know better than to listen to a female when it comes to vehicles! Now other shit like hey don't do that or you will end up hurt or bleeding I will prob still listen? lol
